I keep getting,Low coolant, charge system fault, service tire monitor and the fuel gauge drops to empty till I restart the car. What gives and how can I get rid of them?
Sounds like your battery is starting to die....... worse case it is leaking ( common) on the PCM but I doubt it. You can go into the DIC and reset and clear all of these codes. If that does not work replace that battery
Turn the key to the ON position, but don't start the engine. Clear any present messages by pressing the RESET button. Hold the OPTIONS button down, and press the FUEL button 4 times. This will get you into the CODES section of the DIC. The computer will automatically display all the codes your car has created. It will cycle through each code every 3 seconds. Any code that ends in H is a history code (something that has occured in the past) but is fine now. Once the computer has finished going through all of it's codes, press RESET to enter Manual Configuration mode. It should start with a module and show "NO CODES" or "# CODES".
To optionally reset the codes once in manual mode, press and hold RESET until it displays "NO CODES". Press OPTIONS to go to the next module. Repeat the steps in this paragraph until you have reset the codes in all the computer modules
Cleared out all of the codes but when i took the vette out last night the low coolant came on again.I checked all the fluids and they are fine.Do I need my mech. to clear out the actual computer?

I would check them and clear them again....but also if you wasnt pull the front passengers side wheel off and then the inner fender. Look at the pcm and the wires......make sure that your original battery did not leak on to this area.

Check that battery and take a hour and look over that PCM really good...I say and hour, to jack the car up get the wheel off and get the panel out of the way, better to be safe than sorry.
