Default Z06 Wheels Question

I'm looking for new wheels for my 99 black FRC. Thinking of putting z06 style wheels on it. Noticed that a few sites reference "machined", "polished" and "chrome". What's the difference between the polished and machined? Anyone have some good quality comparison photos? Any issues to be aware of with one vs the other?

Thanks,

I put "chrome" on my Y2K FRC because they shine more than polished rims and you don't have to polish them frequently to keep them looking good. Now machined - someone else will have to help you there. Just my $.02.

Have you had any problems with the chrome wheels? I've heard they pit or chip easily.

The machined have more of a brushed look to the finish - not as shiny as the polished.
