So I am getting ready to powdercoat my calipers on my 02 Vert, triple black. I can't decide which color to go with. If anyone has pics of painted calipers they could post it would really help me out! I am thinking either gloss black or metallic red, but I make better decisions with visual cues. Any pics on a black car or any car for that matter would really help.

I had mine powdercoated blood red with handpainted black letters. I like the contrast. I know that red has been done before - but I really don't care much about that. I cared more what looked good. I'm happy with the results!
First, I painted them Aluminum, then tried Yellow but went to Red. All the colors were Rustoleum ($3 per can). Aluminum didn't stand out enough, Yellow was too bright and Red is the best.
I went with straight Rustoleum. The color is satin black so it doesn't have the high gloss finish. I wanted a more subtle look so I'm happy with it. I think bright red would have been too gaudy with the Mag Red II
Whichever you choose it's a great improvement over stock

All I'm sayin' is that red is such a plentiful caliper color. Depending on what color scheme your going for, I think the blue might look sweet on a black Vette. JMO though. check 'em on on NBM

Go to Mikes website for some ideas. I just "got in line" for a set of his powdered coated rotors. I have a trip black as well. I'm going with High Gloss Black w/gold lettering.
