Oil Dip Stick
When checking the engine oil (warm engine, waited 15 minutes) and the dip stick shows oil at the bottom of the hash mark, where it says "add", does that mean to add one quart? Or do you add oil incrementally until it reads at the top of the hash mark? The reason I asked, I added a quart and it appears to be slightly over the full mark

It's supposed to need one quart at the "Add" mark, but that doesn't mean it's precisely calibrated. A little overfill won't matter. It's better than being low.

I was somewhat concerned about that because the manual says, "Don't add to much oil .... your engine could be damaged." But you think a little overfill won't hurt anything?
