Murphy's Law At Work
Started the Vet up about two weeks ago. Let run to get oil and water temps up for an extended period. No Issues!
Called my insurance agent and put insurance back on for the Spring/Summer, went out to drive vet and
battery is dead
Write note to self, "Start car first before adding insurance."

my battery was really down a few weeks ago - so I had to jump it
will that continue to happen if I start to drive the car regularly? is my battery screwed from no use

Might be worth looking into a battery tender for when it's idle.

Might want to have battery checked. You could have a bad cell or the start of one.
