Finally Got A Vette
It's been 24 years coming, but I finally picked up a Vette today. I road in my first in 1981 just after I turned 10 and got out of it telling my Dad I would own one when I grew up. I guess I finally grew up.
I picked up a 2004 Torch Red/Black/Black convertible loaded down with all the good stuff. Original sticker was just over 57K but I picked her up for $40,950 with just over 2,000 miles.
After having a 99 Trans Am a few years ago, I figured I knew what to expect. Boy was I wrong! This thing pulls like a fighter jet. Totally unbeleivable. My T/A was an Auto and this one is a stick and that makes one heck of a difference.
Now I see why this car is an icon.
I have not taken any pics yet, but will soon. Just wanted to share my joy with you guys.
