i finally had a good warm day to work on my car and decided to go buy the duplicolor caliper paint and paint my calipers red and cant believe how easy it was and i wish i had done it sooner!!! [IMG][/IMG]
yea they came on the car and thats not 1 of my priorities to get taken off.i dunno why the previous owner put em on there but soon as i get my trans and rear in as well as everything else i need to install which is a list long as the state of florida then i will get to the badges as well as the ducts he put on the side.
thanx billy hell i was going to ask on how 2 take em off when i got ready to do so and you just saved me a post! now by chance would ya know how to get the side rear vents off as well?
Ok, as far as the badges: Heat em up with a hair dryer, and (carefully) get a fingernail under the edge of the badge. Slowly pull up on the badge, and maybe squirt a bit of WD40 in there. The heat will loosen the glue that holds the badge on, and once it starts to lift, it should come off easy.
And as far as the rear vents??? You're not talking about the stick on ones, are you???? ACK!!!! x2!!!! lol
The same method!
Too bad you're not any closer (NJ), I'd help you put real ones on. It's a fun afternoon job!
