My HUD will be working fine then all of a sudden all of the lights will light up on my HUD. It will only last a minute or so and then go back to normal. There is no pattern that I have noticed, just random!
Anybody had this to happen? Any ideas what is going on or how to fix it?
Yeah, BUT I just sold an 01 and NEVER had this happened and it has happened about 5 times in the past 4 days???? But just noticed it for the first time about 4 days ago.
Sunlight is possible, BUT I can turn brightness of HUD all the way down and I can still see the lights....
All characters are being lit up from the sunlight, not from the projecter...so turning the display brightness down makes no difference.
Next time you notice it happens, simply turn onto a different street or in a different direction (if possible)...you'll notice it goes away immediately.

It has nothing to do with the HUD being on or off, it's the sunlight reflecting off the inside of the thing.
