I've never been to Brokeback Mountain and I know for a fact that I am not gay (not that there's anything wrong with that) but I know this for sure about my corvette: "she" is a "beauty" and I love "her"!
This whole thread is unbelieveable. Not gay but must admit she gives me
a ha*d on when I get behind the wheel. I love the car. Hope this is not offensive to anyone
Am I alone in assuming that anyone who refers to their
Corvette as "her", or "she".... is Gay?
YES you are alone! who hell cares how someone refers to their Vette, it's obvious that you have issues with this by the fact that you asked the question. Its pritty shallow of you to assume that someone is "gay" if they refer to their vette as her or she.

Referring to a mucle car as a she doesn't quite have a nice ring to it. Think about it.

This may be true but there is an EXCEPTION. In the Spanish culture South of the equator in some locations, when a usually masculine object exhibits behaviors such as wearing a bra, putting their top down, or swishing their butt back and forth while accelerating down the highway the object then has taken on feminine characteristics. This does not mean they are then considered as truly feminine but more like a TRANS-VETTE-ITE, sometimes called a "shim" in N. American anglo culture; unless surgery has been performed to the central organ [engine]; if successful = feminine/if not = eunuch > no *****.
I always thought if you Didn't call your vette a 'she' you were gay. Not that there's any wrong with that...I just choose not to be gay and hold back my true feelings towards men
