If you have to ask then you must have some doubt.

If you're in love with the car then buy it. Otherwise wait for "the one" to grab your attention.

Jacob,

I took a look at KBB.com (Kelly Blue Book). The car in excellent condition would retail for about $27,500 and from a private party, $23,500. So from that viewpoint, it is a great deal. To me, mileage is a very big factor, more so then the year. Repairs on Corvettes are not cheap. I would keep looking for a lower mileage car, even if it were a year or two older. There are a lot of Corvettes out there that the owners only drove on weekends, etc., so with a little time you should find one. I know you are anxious to get a Vette, but realize, you will be driving it for a long time. Just my opinion, you are the one that must be happy.

Good luck,

Clayton from Las Vegas

C5 approximate value for a coupe (from Corvette magazine) is $24,000 for average condition...so seems like a deal....then read posts on oil usage....and you'll find those that answered "yes" were owners of a 2000??

Follow the gut...y/n...no indecision.

Sounds like a good deal to me, especially with all the documentation. Let us know if you pull the trigger.
