Please can you take some more night shots in HIGH RES for dual screen monitors (or take serveral shots and i can stitch em together for a kcik azz wallpaper?
For those of you that want to pick up the turn signal power here is the info that Bob at ATI Performance Engineering graciously provided.
There is nowhere underhood to pick up those signals. The easiest place would be at the IP Fuse Block under the dash, or the BCM module right next to it. Remove the carpet panel in the passenger footwell.
On a 2004:
BCM Connector C2 Pin D7 (DK BLU) is Right Turn Signal
BCM Connector C2 Pin D8 (LT BLU) is Left Turn Signal
You can probably poke the wires through the large rubber grommet on the far right side of the firewall where the main harness feeds through
The wires were the same on my 2001. It's a pain to get down in the footwell to access the wires, but then I have 5 fused vertebrae. Someone more limber may find it to be easier. If you are mounting lights in your hood you also need a ground which can easily be tapped into at the underhood light. Also when lighting something in front of the windshield you have to consider glare coming back at the windshield and unwanted light on the windshield wipers. I had to shield the LED strip to prevent this. Mod on, young Grasshopper!
While I love the high rise ACI hood on my C5, I wasn't to crazy about the view of the back of it through the windshield. The standard screens were a little crude and the openings were nonfunctional because of the hood liner.
So I made up an aluminum filler panel and covered it with carbon fiber decal material. Then I added front license filler letters and a couple LEDs for turn signal indicators. I had some of the carbon fiber material left so I covered the rear portion underneath the hood. That was a real PITA because of the compound curves. As long as I was pissing away so much time, I decided to illuminate the letters for night time. After a long search I picked up a LED strip on Ebay all the way from Hong Kong. Here is the end result.
That why I keep browsing the forum to check out something like this.

***BTW, do you have a bit blinding issue driving at nite?
Blinding won't be an issue. The LEDs are not as bright as the camera shows. Plus, with them shielded there is not any direct glare to the windshield or unwanted lighting of the wiper area. If I do tire of it a switch underhood can turn it off. It looks great in the dark shop. Winter still has a hold on us here so no driving for a while yet. Between this project and mapping out the stripes you're working on for the ACI high rise, winter is passing quickly. Come on summer!
