I am getting ready to replace my stock pads and rotors. I have been looking into "FrozenRotors-by Diversified Cryogenics". Has anyone had any luck or used frozen rotors? I am told that the will NOT warp and they last a long time. The cost is $436.00 for all 4. Are they worth the cost? Are there better options? I use my Vette on the street NOT on the track. Thanks!!
Warpped rotor are a myth. Just excess brake pad material deposited on the rotor. go to stoptech dot com and look under myths
Frozen rotors are another joke. and just big proffit for a company. Liquid Nitrogen can not penitrate more then 2 mm if even that much of iron, heck Liquid N2 does not do a good job or freezeing and preserving human tissure let alone Iron.
and the first time you hit the brakes and put any heat into the rotor you have removed any presummed benifts. ie save your money.
for very thin metals less then 2 mm it might have sound applications.
