Default weather stripping alignment with pillar

Is there anyway to get the weather stripping to sit against the pillar the way it is supposed to? My passenger side is tight together, the drivers side with the window up really pulls away from the pillar.

I was going to put in a picture so you would know what I am talking about but I don't seem to know how to do that.

When the window is rolled up it really pulls the weather stripping away from the pillar and makes an opening. The passenger side looks perfect. Here is a pic of what I am talking about

I was just going to ask for a pic...

Is this with that (for lack of a better term) lip out? Mine has a 'lip' that folds out over the pillar.

On the passenger side mine folds under the pillar. Even when I pull it out to fold over the pillar it has a gap. It seems that the bulg of the weather stripping is now as flat at the passenger side. It protrudes out more instead of being flatter and wider.

You see on my pics at the bottom where the 90* angle of the stripping is, my whole piece folds over including this. On your first pic it seems to fold under, I wonder since it has been this way a while if it has develped 'memory' from being in that position?

That could be but the passenger side it the same way and it fits tight against the pillar. I am going to ask the dealer about it to see what they say. I would like it to sit tight against the pillar in either configuration. I tried moving it out like yours but that doesn't help since the weather stripping is just to far from the pillar.
