Default window problem?

Anyone have problems with their windows not rolling down all the way? I had a bunch of stuff replaced on my driverside door about a year ago from the dealership costing about 1500 buxs and now its getting stuck. Is there a way the window gets stuck off track? It goes down half way and i have to push it the rest. And when it rolls up it goes up real slow. Is there anything I can check. I really dont want to go spend another 1500 buxs on this again. And there are scratches on the outer window where it is rubbing. This has been happening for a while but now its really getting on my nerves.

TIA
ALbert

Not exactly certain what your problem is but I just fitted electric windows to the Camaro. I suspect the fit is similar.

I had the same problem initially. A good lube solved the part opening issue. The scissor jack was not moving to the fully open position properly.

The scratches and slow closing may be the retainer. There are two clips (called retainers) that hold the window tight when its fully closed. A snubber drops into a groove when its fully closed. On the Camaro one of those had sheared. That was causing the window to flex when it was closing and the extra pressure made it slow. The broken part left bare metal rubbing on the window and would have caused scratching if I hadn't replaced it.

Overall the job is a PITA. It may be worth the cash to have the dealer take a look.
