I own a 99' hardtop and just purchased GM Zo6 wheels that had been chromed. At the same time my new wheels and tires were to be installed I had new brakes put on(calipers-rotors-pads). Two different tire stores have been unable to install the new front wheels because of clearance issues. Has anyone else had these problems??? Everywhere I've read the Zo6 wheels should go on a normal C5. Help!
I swapped out my wagon wheels on my 99' coupe for 04 Z06 wheels and F1 Supercars, even used my TPS on the new wheels. No problem! Not sure why yours wouldn't be the same.

Are they putting stick on wheel weights toward the outer part of the rim? This will interfere w/ the caliper, and the solution is install the weights toward the inside part of the rim......on the back rims the back calipers are smaller, so no issues there....
Are you sure they are GM wheels? Do they say Speedline on the back of the spokes? I'm only asking because if they happen to be repros the offset could be different fromt the stock offset and could cause interference issues. I know this is along shot, but worth looking into.
The calipers are GM-red Corvette and the rotors are grip-force which are OEM size. Pads are by Hawk. Earlier someone mentioned weights on the rim which may actually part of my issue. When the wheels are turned to the left, I do hear a clicking noise on the left front wheel.
Also the tires are 275 up front vs. 265 spec on factory Zo6. Scott

......i did, take the left wheel off and look at the weights or jack it up and spin the tire...
