On my o1Z the drivers side parks perfect but the pas. side is about an inch from being hidden.I was going to just reposition it on the spline but after reading these posts I might just live with it.Good luck PassMe.Let us know how you made out.

It may be the spline on top where the arm is. There is one spline from the motor to the transmission piece where it goes to the splines on top of the cowell that the arms connect to. If one wiper is higher than the other I would re-adjust the that arm on top of the spline. (I hope that makes since, I'm hopped up on dayquill right now )
no, No, NO! Stop! If you "reorient" the wiper arms on their shafts the next time you touch the key they will want to go into the engine compartment. If it were me, I'd ask the dealership what they were going to do and order the same parts used from Gene at Karshop or new from Fred Beans.
I agree, the wipers will go down instead of up when you re-orient them. This condition usually happens when the wiper blades are somehow restricted when you turn them on. I live in Wisconsin, this is common when there is heavy snow or ice on the windshield and the wipers are either left on from the day before, or they are turned on. It seems to me that a new motor will be needed. Maybe if you can DIY, you can save about half of the dealer estimate.
