Some interest has been generated regarding decals for the Wagon Wheel. I have ordered vinyl and am working with a local company to make the decals. It will be a few days before I know if this can be pulled off.
The process is computer generated and I have to create the computer files which will direct the cutting machine. Hope I can do it. I plan on having that done tonight and tomorrow we will see if it works. Hopefully, we can make a test run.
I have created a website for ordering the decals. It is totally in anticipation that things will fall into place. Let's face it, this is the first time I have tried something like this and maybe I can't do it.
In the mean time, if you would like to visit the site just to see what has been done so far (it is under construction) please do so and maybe you can make some suggestions.
There is a protocol for selling items commercially on the forum. You should look into it. Supporting vendors pay to market their items here. You may be inadvertantly crossing the line.
Great website and a fantastic idea. I wish you had thought of it a year ago before I bought my new Zo6 chromies. I might have just got your kit instead! Great price too. Good luck with sales!
I really don't care for Wagon Wheels at all but I'd buy these stickers in a heatbeat!! (I have Ronals now, sorry!)
Nice website!! Good luck!!
Are you a supporting Vendor yet? The last guy that tried this sort of thing (At cost and only as a favor really) got stopped because he was not a supporting Vendor. (something to this effect anyway... He was selling the battery cover and the hood piece too.)
IBTL if you are not a vendor you cant sell or even if you dont make any money off it. my brother chris.shea made templates for the battery cover and was only selling them for the materials ans shipping but they would let him. but send me a pm when you have them ready.
Supporting vendors pay for the considerable bandwidth charges on the Forum, making it free for the rest of us. In exchange, they get the privilege of using the Forum to market and promote their goods and services.
Forum members are welcome to sell a Corvette or Corvette parts they purchased for their own personal use. Anything else is considered to be a commercial sale. No links to eBay sales, please. If the sale is appropriate for the Forum, post it on the Forum, rather than linking to it elsewhere.
Members are not prohibited from mentioning it when they have a good (or bad, for that matter) experience with a non-supporting vendor. But such mentions cannot be so specific (address, phone number, e-mail address, URL, price, part number, etc.) and so frequent that they become marketing and promotional references.
Only supporting vendors can post Group Purchase threads.
Members can include a mention of their personal businesses in their signatures so long as the enterprise does not compete with an existing supporting vendor, is not Corvette-related and is not so detailed or so frequently appended to their posts that it becomes inappropriate marketing and promotion
