I assume you are talking about an A4 tranny. I have not seen anyone put LED's there. I have changed out everything else except for at the PRNDL indicator. I decided not to do it when I did the climate control only because I was tired of working on my car. I'm sure I will do this eventually. I would love to see some pics if anyone has done this.

im planning on doing the led mod here soon within a few weeks hopefully with the help of a forum member and i will be doing mine with all the lights converted to led lights.i found a post with the A4 done with blue led lights.check it out:

You can use a #194 replacement LED bulb... I've seen some at Pep Boys recently... they have 4-5mm LED's on it.
