Rocker panel thrashed!!

I knew immediately what had happened. So when I got home, I looked at it, couldn't see anything just standing there. Kneeled down and still could not see any damage. When I got down and looked up at the bottom from the ground, my stomach turned!! I have about a 2ft scrape, about 1.5" wide, and it's deep! It didn't look like anything was cracked, but I really could not tell.
I guess it will be ok, it's not visible unless you get on your hands and knees and look underneath the car, but it is the fact that I know its there!!!
Thanks for letting me vent!!

BUT
Try filing a Complaint/Claim with the city/town. Here if a fault in the road like a pothole cause damage to your car, you can make a claim with the city. Just take a picture, send it in with a letter. I hit a pothole 5 years ago with my wife's Bimmer and destroyed a rim and a tire. They paid the whole $500 and change for a new tire, rim, and misc stuff.
Good luck

My plan is to get some thin aluminum polished "diamond plate", cut the pieces about as wide and run the length of the rocker. I figure I'll glue them into place.
Or, I could just forget about the whole thing and realize that with a lowered car (on stock bolts) , its just going to happen some time.
