I was trying to find it on gmpartsdirect.com but came up with nothing.

I'm not sure what the part number is but check out Fred Bean's or better yet, you might be able to pick up a used one from Gene at Gene's Kar Shop. Both are forum vendors and excellent to work with.

Jason at Vette to Vette is a good source for used parts and knowledge at identifing them as well. He is a forum vendor.

On a CD version of the C5 parts manual that I have, the item is called a Screen, Air Inlet. Part number is listed as 10446063. Hope this helps.
