Noisy Tires
I just bought my fist Corvette, a 2003 with less than 12,000 miles on it and I have noticed that there is a lot of road noise at about 75-80 on the highway. Can anyone tell me if this is just the nature of the beast or if it is the tires that come stock on the car. Any help would be appreciated.

Any aftermarket runflat is an improvement. Good article recently explaining that the noise is due to the rigid sidewalls needed to meet the GM spec to run 200 miles when flat.

could be tires, but check/set tire pressure

Have you checked/set the cold tire pressure to at least 30 psi?
If so, try increasing the tire pressure 1lb at a time and see what/if that helps -- up to a maximum of 35 psi cold.
Our 2000 is set at 32 PSi cold (Goodyear oem tires, 8k miles) and it rides quieter than at 29-30 psi cold which PO was using.
Also found a fabulous and remarkable improvement in the ride on our 1994 by increasing to 33 psi cold (Goodyear oem tires with 15k miles).
My speculation is with the run-flats, they need a bit more air to ride on the tread and not the stiff side wall.
