I plan on always having my C5... but also adding a nice silver 1961, a drop top 65-67, and of course somewhere in there a new C6 Z06...lol ...lots and lots of plans yet to unfold! But always a vette, especially since my wife is hooked on them now too!
For those of you that are not planning on keeping your C5 forever, what car do you think will one day replace your C5?
For me the one thing I really miss about my Supra was the targa top, with a ton of beautiful days in fl it comes in really handy, and considering the new c6 z06 doesnt have one I may explore the word of the srt-10 viper as it still has performance and is a drop top yet doesnt cost a fortune (especially a nice used one). Depending how things situate for me I may try it out in about a year, but being only 22 (23 this friday!) I am in no rush.
I have to trade my wife in first and then I'll be able to consider a new car.
If you miss the targa top of the Supra but still want the power of a Z06 wait for the C6 Z06 convertible I hear rumors of. Wind in your hair and still with the Z06 power...
If not upgrading to a better Vette I would assume it would be for a car with a backseat. If that's what it comes to, a used CTS-v - the four door Corvette.
if a targa or convertible z06 comes out, it will def make it a lot harder of a choice, everytime though i look at my Z it makes me think if its truly worth it to replace it with another car and have large monthly payments, my car is paid off
