Hard to say. I think I'm going to keep my C5 for a long time. Next car to get is for the wife so I figure in a few more years her C4 will go and she will get a C6. Right now her C4 only has 34,000 on it so it going to be a while before we even do that. One thing is for sure it will be a Corvette
I have been pondering this same question for a few months but won't make a decsion until next february.
With new corvette pricing up about another $4000.00 from what I paid in 2003 I have been looking but after seeing some of the deals the forum corvette dealers have been posting it looks better..but in case I don't by another corvette I have looked at the
Nissan z roadster. with every available option it looks great.
Honda s 2000
last choice BMW z 4...
any comments on those errrrr Rice bugs...
Wife has new 2006 Honda..first car every in 30 years not a Chev or Ford..Except My jag's...
I'd love a Ferrari F430, but assuming that I'm looking for a sports car a little less costly, and I couldn't get another Corvette, it would probably be a Trans Am or Camero that I can mod...and mod.
My first choice, of course, would be a C6 Z06. Those things are hot.

I looked at the Z roadster before buying my C5 as I had great luck with a 260Z & 300ZX, but the pedals were too close. I'm 6-2 but my legs are not that long (32" inseam). S2000 currently no torque & must rev rev rev to make move. This month's R&T has some interesting previews. Beamer? Maybe the M version, but then you have to deal with real stealerships. My $.02.
The C5 stays with me, but I would like to add a C6 Z06 or the next generation Z06 if it reaches the rumored 600 Hp. Meanwhile my wife is looking to replace her 84 Z28 and I am hoping the General is going to bring the Z28 show car to market.
A Porsche Carrera GT for street/track, a Bugatti (1001hp!) for going out to dinner, a C6R for racing, Porsche 997 Turbo for winter, an M6 convertible for the wife and a Cayenne Turbo S for her winter beater.
Ok, I'm awake now...Besides the obvious money factor, my wife always end up with the most expensive car in the garage....
I see a Z51 C6 replacing my C5 in the next two years.
