I Had Problems With My Vararam And You Guys Have All Really Helped Me Out.
Along With The Vararam Problem I Asked About The Safe Peak Rpm For A Stock 03 Z06.
The Tech Who Installed My Vararam Set Mine At 7000.
Any Thoughts?

I think most will say the safe peak RPM for the LS6 (Stock) would be the 6500 it normally is set to. Without some internal upgrades, I dont think much more is wise for any sustained run.

Stock rev limiter is 6600, and most tuners will bump it up to 6800.

7100 but I have upgraded valve train. But even with a aftermarket tranny, synchos dont like alot more above 6700.

GM did a test on the LSx motor at 6900 for an extendided time with no major problems. the World challange LSx motors have the redline bumped to 7400. No matter what valve train you use, there is still some valve float above 65-6700.

If your not changing your valves to the LS6 titanium springs keep the rpms down 65-6700.

Well spoken as always. Great advise!!!
Dave
PS Mine is set to 7100 but my entire valve train has been upgraded but rockers and lifters. Stock set-up, it's best to shift @ 6500 for best track times (1/4). I belive most road race folks go @ 6k but then again, then man to ask is right there above
