Default Threw a code!

So i just bought my vette about a week ago, and after a few days of driving it says "Service Vehicle Soon"... well, i check it at autozone and the code that pops up is:

P1516

I've searched and read about this code a little bit, but other members always seem to throw this code in conjunction with other codes and the problems could be a list of things... That's not my case, i am only seeing this code.

Please advise, any tips/help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Check you code to see what # is. A common problem that happens ...gas cap is not tightened or on correctly. Try that first then if no joy post the code # and I'm sure someone can tell you what it is.

P1516= command vs actual throttle position performance or ( pcm module) Hope this helps...

Possibly bad PCM module? Or just some Checksum isn't coming back right and the comp is throwing this code? Hows serious is something like this? The car seems to drive fine, idle fine, and rev fine.

Any easy fixes?

Are you aware you can pull up your own codes? Just wondering why you went to Autozone.

OK, well i'm home and i looked aruond the battery. It looks like there was some leakage, i see some dried acid, but i don't really see any damage to the top cables... i'm going to look underneath the battery in a bit and see if anything scares me... (Its a AAA battery... no sign of the ACDelco...) So far it only threw the one code P1516, and it's not throwing anything else...

I'll post anything else i find, and if anybody has any ideas please run them by me. My friend is a mechanic and he's on his way over to help look at stuff.
