Intermittent Tire Pressure Sensor error in '02 - replace or retrain?
About twice a month my LF TPS throws the "flat tire" message. Usually when I first start the car. It then takes from 5 - 30 minutes for it to start reporting normally. During the outage, even if I reset the DIC, it almost immediately reports back "flat tire". So, since this is an '02, should I just replace that one sensor or could it be something else? I was thinking retraining, but it doesn't make sense why it starts working by itself again.

Retraining costs nothing - try that first. If that doesn't stop the problem and all other sensors seem to be working, could be the one has gone bad.

Both of you folks need to read how to "re-train" the sensors. You cannot cure them by "resetting" them.
