I'm at A&A...
having an oil pressure sending unit replaced. Since I am an impulse kind of guy, I am also getting some Borla Stingers installed and having the car lowered on the stock bolts. Man the wife is gonna be mad at me!

Although, i haven't ordered anything from Andy Yet, i spoke with him on the phone last week for the first time. I was most impressed. Seems to be an excellent vendor! I'm looking forward to an oportunity to do business with him in the future.

BUT, if she DOES say something like, "The car sounds different", then your reply is, "Yes, it does sound different". Then SHUT THE HECK UP!
If she says, "I don't remember it sounding that way before", you just say, "Yeah, maybe the shop did something to it, but I like better this way, don't you?" Make it like a rhetorical question that she doesn't need to answer, and talk about something else that you know is important to her.
If she pointedly asks if you bought a new exhaust, just say something like, "Oh yeah, that's right, I did get a new exhaust. But, I thought you already knew that". You're still not lying because it is possible that she MIGHT have already known that just by the sound.
Then, quickly start rambling about things you've been thinking about lately, and slip in that you were thinking that maybe you two could go to the Virgin Islands for your next anniversary, which is hopefully eleven months away.
And, whatever you do, end that rambling with a pointed question to her that requires her to think before answering. Just make sure the question is NOT ABOUT THE CAR!
Hey, I should be a used car salesman! Now, where are my plaid pants, checkered jacket and polks dotted tie?
