Speed Limiter?
Do the C5's have any kind of speed limiter, or will they go as fast as they will go? What is the top speed of a C5 6MN? I think I've read something like 176mph somewhere.
For instance, my Audi A6 is supposedly electronically limited to 135mph, and shuts down at that speed...not that I've ever tested it.

The PCM goes to 255 mph (Hex : FF)
That is the only limiter on the C5
Aerodynamics, gearing, redline and horsepower are your only other limiting factors

Once you get above 160, you can run out of room in a hurry.

I was with a friend in his C5 MN6 and we tested out 3 of the new freeway cameras at 3am and got 181 mph on GPS. I dont even think the car was in the picture!!! And man there was serious wind noise.

No limiter that I have heard of. I remember seeing something in print that stated the top speed for a coupe was around 175 mph.
