I just started the dress up game very recently, like in the last two weeks. I'm still waiting on some chrome pieces to come in DTSNGIT . Here is a work in progress:

Looking good, Jason!!! Just don't park behind me at the Sugarland show week after next. BTW, got a Corsa X-pipe at MTI this week and finally, yes finally, had the exhaust straightened.

Rumor has it that this C6 guy has the best looking engine compartment in the entire world. Kings have offered sacks of gold to possess it. Young girls cry when they see it. Women leave their husbands. It is so incredibly beautiful and detailed that the reclusive owner keeps it concealed under all this stainless steel crap in order to keep the dust off in between shows that he trailers the car to.
I hope you know I'm joking. Some amazing engine bays in this thread. Really incredible.
,but only because mines still under wraps and I don't have any good pics.
But my vote goes to
1. Jim's flames (glad he lives in another state )
2. Roadrage1 - beautiful and classy
Golly, these are some pretty engine bays! And the think, they not only look good, but they run just as fast as you want (with apologies to Archie Bell and the Drells!).
Aren't these cars great - they look good, run great and make you feel like a million bucks every time you get in and turn the key. Best purchase I have ever made. And the Corvette Forum is the best site on the web. Non-fattening and just a little addictive.
Yesterday here in Austin, Texas it was 75 and bright sunny - I saw a line of Elises, Porsches, M3s and others heading out to the hills, ran into a group of 30+ Solitices (sp? little Pontiacs) and then a bright yellow Testarosa followed by a Daytona - oh yeah -and a Cobra with a Carroll Shelby signature on the glove box! Can't wait to see what today brings!
There are a some insanely cool pics! But you asked who has the 'Best Engine' compartment, since you didn't say "Best Loooking" I can infer that 'go' is as important as 'show'.

Thanks Bob! Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to the show. I have to go to a wedding in New Orleans. If it rains, I'll certainly be at the rain date one. I was going to go to the one at Hooters today but I am at the office right now.
