Default problems with driver's seat?

My driver seat rocks back and forth a little. The bolts holding it to the body are tight so it must be in the seat's internals. Anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I have the same problem. Brought it back to the dealer, they had the car for two days and it seemed fixed for about three days. Came to the conclusion that the Z06 seats are pieces of crap and will be replaced with a nice set of OMP's.

I've noticed the same problem as well. Nice to know that it's not just mine, but sucks just as well.

Yep...I have the same issue. I've checked every nut and bolt...they're all tight.

I've read several posts about sloppy seats, etc.

What is the most popular aftermarket seat option for the Z?

Thanks!

The best replacement seats I've seen are the Vette Essentials seats... problem is that they cost about 5 times what they should.

Hey Guy's - if you go to the C5 Tech Tips and down towards the bottom of the list is Rocking Seat Fix, check it out, it may solve your rocking seat problem

The rocking seat is a common C5 problem and has been around since the 97s. The normal fix by GM is to replace the seat track which costs in the range of $700 for the part. If your dealer had it for 3 days and the problem came back in a few days that means the car got the fresh air and sunshine treatment instead of a new seat track. Buying new seats will not fix the problem unless you replace the seat tracks or do the repair in the tech tips.
