I have a 01 coupe that is only lowered an inch or so. She has been lowered for 2 years now. I just got new tires and was considering getting the car aligned. I have never had her aligned and she has 70k on her. The last set of tires had NO uneven wear but everyone said if the car is lowered it should be aligned. If so should I get the Z06 specs??? I put 200 miles on these new tires this wekend and she ran true down the center. I almost feel like its a waste of $$.
I have the Corvette aligned once a year, usually March or April before "Corvette Season" starts for us. At $1400-1500 a set for tires, I will gladly pay $70-80 a year to protect my investment in tires. As to lowering, any time you change the geometry of the suspension it needs to be aligned.

If you are a very aggresive driver or do several auto-x / track events, then go with the Z06 specs. If not, stay as the car was made. It sounds like the stock alignment worked well for you the first time around, so I would stick with it.
My personal rule is.... new tires ... get an alignment...
$75-$100 on an alignment = hundreds saved on new tires sooooonner
i had mine aligned, they used 2001 specs, felt wierd. went back and they found the problem. used 2000 specs. true as can be again. different cars need different specs to be right.
Thanks but do you guys get Z06 Specs or standard C5 Specs??
I went ahead and had mine aligned to the standard C5 specs. I know what you mean about a waste of money, but I have been told that it may feel fine, doesn't always mean that things are as such. SEARS did mine for $75 and I was cool with that
