Third brake light question

Mine is defiantly LED with a sealed housing, it is sold as a complete sealed package.
I have had the whole assembly apart to install my video camera and the outer casing had to be cut open to gain access to the LED's, then epoxied back together to seal it back up.
E-bay is one source you might check. I have seen the 3rd brake light assemblies for sale there in the past for around $30.

You guys have me curious now. I am going to crack into it to see what is in there. So far we have a bunch of LEDs and one guy who has a push in bulb.

A PRNDL would be a Powerglide.... PRNDLL = Turbo 350 or 400
I dunno what a C5 A4 would be - mine's an MN6....

P - Park
R - Reverse
N - Neutral
D - Drive
L - Low
not specific to a powerglide transmission, but a powerglide IS a two speed transmission.
OR
P - Park
R - Reverse
N - Neutral
3 - 3rd gear
2 - 2nd gear
1 - 1st gear
again, not specific to a TH350 or 400, but they ARE three speed transmissions.
I believe the C5 A4 is a four speed transmission (I guess that's why it's called an "A4" Automatic 4 speed?), so the second one would apply. only with an Overdrive (with an "O" circling the "D")
