Default Line Lock.......

I was thinking of getting a line lock installed in my vette. More for "Show" then anything. Do any of you guys or gals out there have one installed? Pics, install info, Price... ya know the deal. Help me out!

WHY would you install a line lock for "Show" purposes ?? Do you mean to be able to smoke your tires?? Or just to have an extra button on the inside of your car?

There about 150-175 bucks, and I would assume about another 100+ for installation.

Just want it for burn outs. I will be doing some time at the track here soon, when I figure out what to do with the motor. Turbo or SC, not sure, but for now... just sick burnouts! I was thinking about self install. EG, I am almost sure that you did this yourself. Any advice, ect?

Actually, I did not install this ,myself - it was part of my sojourn to ECS last year (trans/gears/brace/stall etc.). It's an ECS kit and they installed it.

And as a FYI - I have it "just for show" as well

I installed my Cartek lock myself and love it. Easy install. I use it for the track for where its meant to be used. Oh yea, and if I'm drunk in parking lots.
