I keep even the back of my wheels clean and waxed, but every time I wash my car they rust sitting in the garage Is there a company that makes stainless steel rotors?
Yes, eventually it does. However many still buy them, because for awhile they are rust-resistant. I have owned several sets of zinc-plated rotors. They all eventually developed some surface rusting.
I heard about the zinc coated rotors, but doesnt the coating wear off?
I've never heard of S.S. rotors. The coatings will eventually wear off the firepath of the rotor where your pads make contact. I don't know of anyway to avoid the flash rust that shows up.
I can't help you with replacement rotors as I also have the stock, but what I do if I am garaging it right after a wash is drive it slowly on my driveway to eliminate the rust.
You can buy titanium rotors with a ceramic coating, they are 1300 dollars a piece...
or you can take care of your rotors..
Most rotors are cast iron... iron a water cause rust..
you need to keep the water away, ir take care of them...
IN this picture, these rotors have 50,000 miles they are four years old...
Okay Evil, how do we keep water away? My car is not driven in rain, only sees water when washed. Shortly develops rusting afterward. Humidity from the air also causes surface rust.
Is there a method to keeping them clean and taken care of? I like the way those look in the pictures, but I'm afraid any sanding or scrubbing would score them or cause some other damage, with my luck.

My rotors where zinc coated, but after a few years most of the zinc gets eliminated...
I rarely wash my car... maybe two or three times a year....
when I do I pay attention to my rotors like in the above picture.
Contractors trash bags take a few minutes to put on...and they are Cheap///

Brake dust cleaner is very caustic and eats thruogh the Zinc coating. i noticed my rotors were rusted ONLY from the outboard side. Someone prepping the car, before I took delivery (the car had 221 miles on it when I got it...LPE testing), hit it with brake dust remover. I found Philadelphia Rustproofing who re-zinced them for $25 apiece. 2 years, no brakedust cleaner, no problems.
I have a 2004 Z06 and it is totally stock. I only wash my car a couple of times a year, but I do wash the tires and wheels quite often because of brake dust. I am a firm believer in the leaf blower drying system. I have found by making sure my wheels and all brake parts are completely dry, I have no problems with rust forming. I guess you could say my car is a bit of a garage queen. I have had it a little over two years and it has a total of 663 miles.

Holly cow . . . what a waste. Let me see . . . $20,000 in depreciation divided by 663 miles = $30 a mile
I guess you are on your second tank of gas . . annual gas expense is only $30 a year. . .
I think the depreciation may be a little less than your guesstimate. I ordered the car from a dealer friend of mine and paid dealer cost and got a $2,000 rebate that GM was offering at the time. I paid approximately $42,000 plus tax, so I could probably sell it for close to 40 grand now. Besides, I have four other cars that take up a bt of my spare time. I will enjoy my Corvette my way and you can enjoy yours your way!! Thanks for your concern, though.
