I Just got new sensors for my 1999 they are a differened colour and a little smaller than my old ones.I installed them but can't get them to reprogram . They don't even alarm my DIC....

Sounds like the 2nd generation of sensors for the '01 - '04 cars. As you discovered the hard way - they are not cross compatible. Replacement sensors should look exactly like the ones you removed. Maybe you can return them for the right ones - or sell them. How much did you pay? The 2nd generation sensors are less expensive than the 1st generation ones.
Thats stinks. If the Tire Rack won't trade you, you may want to consider posting for a Want to Sell and Want to Buy sensors on the Parts for sale forum.

Sounds like you have the newer style sensor. They are definitely smaller in size than the '97-00 ones. If the vendor sold you the wrong type, give them a call and have them exchange them for you.
