Scroll through 'OPTION' until the DIC goes blank. Then hold down 'RESET' until IT says FOB TRAINING. hit 'RESET' once more it will tell you to press both lock and unlock. Do this until it tells you FOB Learned..train FOB 2.
I believe thats how it is done. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone wont hesitate to say it. Its also in your owners manual. Don't know about 2000's but in my 99 i belive its page 2-12

I picked my car up from the dealership the other day and my fob would not unlock my doors so I did this and it worked: stand near car, press & hold the lock & unlock at same time for 3-5 seconds, horn will honk/lights flash and fob was back in service. If this shortcut does not work then the above mentioned directions in the manual will.
