Tucker had his implant done april the 3rd. He is back home and doing well. The system will not be activated until the end of the month but we are through a big step one.
Thanks so much for all of the help you guys on here gave us. I dont think it would be done right now with out you.
We held a raffle to raise money for a surgery that my son needed. Several people on this board bought Raffle tickets. So I was updating those that purchased "Help Tucker Hear" raffle tickets as to the progress we made.

Jeff, thanks for the update on Tucker. Let us know how he's doing when they activate the implant. I was disappointed when I saw that you didn't have a full sellout of the raffle tickets. I thought there would have been a better response from the CF group.

The interesting thing is that what we made with the Raffle, Cash Donations and the Implant donation comes up to just about what we will need to get us through 5-6 years with the Implant. $82,000 was to get us through 1 year, our total we brought in was $88,000 ($55,000 being the Implant hardware) So please dont be disapointed, the guy who won the money was thrilled, he has been married for 20 years and never got to take his Wife on a Honeymoon, they will be going now. When I started the raffle I was thinking we could feasibly clear $30-$35,000 and I would have to put out $30,000 from money we borrowed on our house then pay out the balance of around $20,000.
As it turned out we have used very little of the money we borrowed.
This board was a very big part of the success we had with the Raffle
