If you are just going to do one once in awhile, the stock pads are fine. If you're going to get really serious about it look into the Carbotech's, or Wilwoods etc. Lot of guys like Hawks but I have found them to be noisy, very dirty and the dust can be nasty if it gets wet. I would also suggest you ask your question over on the autocross/road racing forum. Good luck.

I've been running the Hawks, & I like them. No noise problem at all with mine. Not so sure that they are any dirtier than any other good pads, but there may be cleaner ones out there. There are a few choices out there, & brake pads are not a real expensive item, so if you get some that you don't like, you can change to another.
