Wow, it looks like they did a great job on fixing her back up. Make sure you let the other insurance company know you want your $ back and plenty of extra $$ for pain and suffering, even if its just for the mental anguish of worrying about whether your vette would ever be alright again.

Yep, that's my Specter Werkes GTR. It IS being rebuilt as new by Autromotive Enterprise in San Carlos. $35K in damage, and that's just for body skin and windshield/pilar. Believe it or not, there was NO frame damage. Not even the radiator was damaged! The car just went UNDER the guard rail and scraped up all the fiberglass on the front half of the car and took out the windshield pilar. Anyway, looks like another 30 days in the shop. I'll post pics once it's done.

Total bill was about $19K !!!!!
Frame was replaced both sides just in front of firewall. I got to say they did one heck of a job on it. I saw it before they put the motor and suspension back, and you couldn't tell it had ever been done. The paint color, texture and gloss on the frame all matched perfectly. It drives just fine. As for the body......all seems OK.
If there are any of you that doubt these things can be fixed (that was me)....trust me, they can be if you have a GREAT body shop. My guy races two Hooters Pro Cup cars so he knows what needs done to make thing right.
I'll get some better pics but here's a couple I shot at the shop Friday.
Thanks to everyone for their concern and advice. Now I have to have a little chat with the other Dudes Insurance company 55 Days without MY car....a few medical issues to discuss, etc.

The car looks great but the most important thing is you are still around to drive it

Hmmmm... that blue one looks great... you didn't want any aftermarket hood or bumper? Would have been the perfect time to upgrade.
