Hi Everyone....I'm still here. I just got Bad Boy Blue back Friday.
Total bill was about $19K !!!!!
Frame was replaced both sides just in front of firewall. I got to say they did one heck of a job on it. I saw it before they put the motor and suspension back, and you couldn't tell it had ever been done. The paint color, texture and gloss on the frame all matched perfectly. It drives just fine. As for the body......all seems OK.
If there are any of you that doubt these things can be fixed (that was me)....trust me, they can be if you have a GREAT body shop. My guy races two Hooters Pro Cup cars so he knows what needs done to make thing right.
I'll get some better pics but here's a couple I shot at the shop Friday.
Thanks to everyone for their concern and advice. Now I have to have a little chat with the other Dudes Insurance company 55 Days without MY car....a few medical issues to discuss, etc.
Man, she sure does look happy again! I'm glad you got her fixed... Did you have to pay the 19k out of pocket or did your insurance company foot the bill? I hope he has insurance...
