As I recall, Grond was our guinea pig car for all the major mods. So just remember on whose car you cut your proverbial C5 teeth on

Steve. Now when are you moving down to Florida?

I'm tuning it myself.

As part of the ECS package, Chris (of ECS) will give me a base tune to get me started (60 pound injectors/ pull some timing) when I send my PCM to him - but the real tuning will be done with EFI Live.

If I get good at it, I'll eventually do a SD tune

I'm loving it Barry. Loving Florida as well - the natives actually drive their Vettes down here (compared to CT where I could never get anyone to cruise)

Either that, or you have two digital cameras!

I really enjoyed seeing the teardown pics. It was good seeing the skid bar removed (I'd like to replace mine because a PO bunged up one side pretty good). And yeah, the coolant picture was cool!
Yes, I have 2 digital cameras - doesn't everyone?

And thanks for the kudos

Another weekly field stripping. Sounds like Florida was a good move. I just took Maggie out and am having her get her first bra (clear) for those fabulous fanalones. Then I can drive without fear of sandblasting.

Nice! Did you buy the software already. Do you like it? I was thinking of picking up the software just so I could datalog and slowly learn how to tune.

Yes, I bought the commercial version last October and have been playing with it ever since. I love it - it is by far the most powerful of the tuning packages on the market.

Tell me the truth EG. Does Grond spend more time up in the air or on the ground?

Commercial version? Would I get the same thing with the personal? What's the difference?
