Here are a couple of links with very good instructions. Depending on the circumstances, the adjustment bolt can be very difficult to move so WD-40 or equivalent will be necessary to help in freeing it as will relieving some of the pressure of the spring. Be very careful not to round off the adjustment bolt, it can be difficult to turn. Be sure to properly support the car with jackstands and a good solid piece of wood or pucks. Be sure to use pucks in the frame rail slots if you double up jack stands for extra security:

After the car is settled it is probably a good idea to have it aligned by a competent shop that has experience with Corvettes.
