I have been surfing on this forum for about 2 weeks now. You guys have a great site with tons of great information. I thought I had better sign-up cause I just bought my first Vette! I have had it for four days now, and I am having a BLAST driving it. I bought a 1999 Corvette convertible with 14,700 miles. Needless to say it is in great condition, and the best part, besides it being a Corvette, it has the Lingenfelter Stage 1 kit on it. Anyway, great board and glad to now be a part of the Corvette club. I always make sure to wave

The Stage 1 kit is basically two turbos, a bigger radiator, and some slight changes to the computer, as I understand it at this point anyway. The kit gives the car 500 hp and 500 lbs of torque. The nice part about the kit is it drives like a normal vette around town and looks bone stock........I will post some photos when I get the chance. There is a lot of info at lingenfelter.com, I am still in the learning stages on the different packages. Most of what I know about Lingenfelter is from the previous owner.
