Got my First Vette - Sort of!

Got my First Vette - Sort of!
I just put a deposit on my first Vette. It is an 02 Black M6 with HUD and only 33K miles on the clock. I am about 2 grand short so I could not bring the car home (what a bummer). I will have the rest by Friday and will be bringing her to her new home. She will be pampered. I will post pics once she is home! I can't wait!!!
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank all of you in the forum who educate newbies such as myself on all aspects of buying and owning a Vette! Corvette Forum People are special.
I would like to thank in particular Kingman and Spongevette. They both have gone above and beyond during my search on my first Vette. Kingman and I have even exchanged phone numbers and have had discussions about which Vette to get!
I am pleased to officially be a member and to be associated with such a fine group of people!!

I got the car last night and absolutely love it. I wanted to wah and detail it today to post pics but it is raining.
I want to wash the engine but I have a question. I will spray it with degreaser but can I then spray water to the engine. I saw a video on the Adams Premium Car Products where he sprayed water on th e engine to clean. Is this safe???

do you mean, 2,000 to make a large enough deposit to drive it out
or 2,000 short of total cost, and therefore you have given them
salesprice_less_2,000 ?
if the last one, call them up, tell them you have found a better car for the price you have and you will round to collect your money in the afternoon.
its a bet, but a good one that they would rather eat the 2,000 discount that give you back money (blood, stone are two words that come to mind)
