CD Head Unit + 12 Pack CD Changer Possible?
The car I will be picking up next week has the Bose premium stereo package (option UZ6+UL0)
The headunit is a TAPE deck, and I haven't owned a tape in years.
Is it possible to replace the stock TAPE deck and connect a stock CD deck?
(I know on other GM cars (Grandprix) although the CD deck has a harness slot, the deck does not encompass cd changer control, you must get the tape deck)

Looking around on ebay, it seems that our deck is the same style as in the Yukons, Denali's, Silverado's etc... (GMT-800 lineup)
Wonder if any of those CD players will plug in and play with my existing factory changer?

I know there's two part numbers for the Vette changers, I put one in my 2002 Z06, it was very easy, about a two hour job, three if you have never done this before.

First thing that comes to mind is someone saying "C5's came with tapes still?"
Eventually I will move my AVIC-N1 from my other car to the vette, but untill then I like the convenience of being able to swap CD's on the fly.
