Default Bad Luck Strikes Again

I had my car parked at a store and i was standing not 10' from it.The guy next to my car backs out and right into the left rear quarter panel.Thank God i got a hold of my temper a few yrs back.It helped that he apologized about 15 times and he said I know how you feel I own 2 Vettes. Now Lil Red goes to the body shop.Anyone have a Rabbits foot i can stick in my car glove box....Man i have bad luck....

Very sorry this happened, but to you for reacting like a civilized human being. That alone deserves another round. It was after all, an accident. I know it's inconvenient, but it'll come out looking like it never even happened. Good luck.

my wife got hit by a lady who had the same ins we used too. we had farmers, she had farmers ins. this became a little bit of a mess. the adjuster tried to get me to aggree that the parts where on a used car. so there for i should be happy with used parts replacement. he wanted me to go to aftermarket mufflers, and exhaust pipes. the factory ones where stainless steel and he didnt think that was needed. i told him that the other person hit me. why the heck was he trying to get me to pay for there mistake. it was farmers against farmers. so not much help from my ins agent. it all worked out but........ i dont have farmers ins. anymore because of this. i had been with them for 9 years. all three of the cars we had. i always have had three. and the home insured with them and they treated me horrible over this minor rearend collision that was the others fault. my agent in so many words told me it would have been different if it was not the same ins companies on both people involved. dont let them get away with this if they try. the parts you need are fairly cheap brand new. and to repaint a used panel would be nuts.

Your luck is not all bad. You could have been standing between your car and his when he backed up. Hopefully, the repairs will go well for you. Good luck.

Sorry about your baby.

I would rather be hit by someone owning a Vette because there's a good chance she/he may actually understand what you are going through?

Hope it works out and post pics of the fix.
