First Vette ticket
Just purchased my first vette in February and now have my first ticket in 20 years. Got pulled over for a tinted plate cover after not using my blinker in a turn lane that I have been using for twenty years without a blinker. Maybe cause now I drive a vette?? The plate cover is lightlty tinted and the plate is clearly visable but the cop told me that it could get dirty and obscure the plate (dirty, right!)The cop was real nice and only wrote me up for the plate cover. I was real nice and even offered to change his diaper but he still wrote me up. What fun we're having in our new toy!

Let's see here a moving offense for failing to use a turn signal, but got away with it for 20 years, the cop didn't write the moving violation. Told you your license plate cover was illegal, wrote you for the minor offense, and you offer to change his diaper???? Consider yourself lucky he found something small to write you on and let you go on the turn signal.

Cops can be a$$holes if they want, but then again we all can.
In Canada the cops in my area (east of Toronto) tend to be pretty relaxed and forgiving. However I have driven pretty tame vehicles in the past.
We will see if the "Corvette Tax" will effect the good ol' Canadian police.
