Ok, Ive seen post before about the battery going dead after a week or two of not driving.
However, I started vette fine this am. Looked at DIC and it showed 14.2 volts. So figure all is ok. Back it out, rinse off, dry, put on coat of polish and go to start. Clik, click, click. Will not start.
I too have had this happen when I have not driven for awhile, but this is the first time this has occurred right after it started ok and then an hour later dead! Whats happening???

It showed 14.2 volts after the car started? That's the alternator charging the battery. Try reading the voltage before cranking the engine. If it's below 11.75 you need a new battery. Good luck with it. A battery is a cheap fix if that's your problem.
