Actually it was more like an "awsh$t!". I accidentally scraped my right front rim this morning merging from an off ramp. The tire came out unscathed, but about 1/4 of the rim got scuffed. Any ideas on how to smooth it out? I have a Dremel tool, but I don't know what kind of abrasive bit I ought to put in it. I'm told by others that my rims are called chrome Y2K thinspokes. [Thanks, Yanni!]
I didn't purchase them, they came with the car.

I did the same thing making a U turn shortly after I bought mine. Car was new so I felt the pain. I used a dremel to smooth the edge. I took it real easy until I could see if I was making it worse or better. It looks better because it is now smooth and barely noticeable. I used the screw type dremel accessory. Looks like a super charger screw but only smaller, of course.

did the same thing to mine at the drive thru window at the bank .
the fix for now is that I ignore it and don't look at it
I will eventually have to do something , my curb rash is worse than a 1/4"
