Sorry if this has been brought up, but i did a search and didn't find anything. I want to hardwire my XM radio into the AUX port in my radio because i don't have a disc changer. How do I remove the radio/that central dash panel to access the rear of the radio?
Thx for the help.
You can follow the instructions here http://www.vetteessentials.com/instr...t_install.html
to remove the radio bezel. From there, only two bolts hold the radio in. There are 2 plugs in the back of the radio (maybe 3) and one for the antenna which may require some pliers to remove it. If you have never done it, it should take 45-60 minutes to get the radio out. Much easier the next time around.
If you have the CD/AUX button on your headunit, then you probably DON'T have to take out the radio. Search for some of my posts on adding the AUX2CAR adaptor to the C5 or PM me.
